Arriba baby! It’s heating up in Melbourne!

Immerse yourself in Latin American culture, music, dance and entertainment at Melbourne’s annual Latin Summer Festival! This hugely successful festival draws in a crowd of 40,000 people each year and if you can brave the crowds, you’ll see what the fuss is about! This is a free family friendly event that will showcase the city’s rich Latin American culture. Be entertained with roving entertainment, live Latin bands and DJs and even outdoor free Latin dance classes. There’s something for the kids too, with a kids area set up with face painting and maraca making workshops.

Once you’ve danced up an appetite, take your pick from an array of Latin American cuisine on offer and literally eat your heart out. Sample Latin American cuisine from over 20 different street food vendors – empanadas, chorizo and churros, oh my! The hardest part will be deciding what to eat! A fully licensed beer garden will also be serving up a variety of Latin American specialty beverages. Definitely an event to be marked in your calendar!
